Christmas in the Apartment Upstairs Canvas | Paris Toujours

Christmas in the Apartment Upstairs is an 8 × 8-inch canvas depicting a Paris apartment at blue hour. A decorated tree stands beside tall windows, with wrapped gifts below and a small round table set for two nearby. Warm light crosses the parquet, while neighboring windows glow against the darkening sky outside.

A Christmas evening at home

The scene brings the holiday into a lived room rather than a grand setting. Cane chairs, a draped table, framed pictures, and a rug give the apartment its domestic scale. The open view toward the city keeps other lives present beyond the room, while the tree and table make the foreground feel ready for an evening about to begin.

Printed on gallery-wrapped canvas

The artwork is printed on a one-inch-deep gallery-wrapped canvas with an eight-inch-square face. A narrow white margin surrounds the image, setting the warm interior apart from its surroundings. The canvas texture supports the painterly detail of the room, and the compact proportions make the scene suitable for viewing from a nearby shelf or tabletop display.

A small seasonal interior

Place this canvas on a living-room bookcase, bedroom shelf, entry console, or mantel where its window light can be noticed. It works with warm woods, pale linens, dark green, and modest touches of gold. The illustration already contains its own tree and Christmas table, so a simple arrangement around it gives those details room to remain visible.

From Noël in the Neighborhood

Paris Toujours finds beauty in useful objects, private rituals, and the city as it is lived. Its Christmas capsule follows the same idea through winter: a room prepared, a gift brought home, a table set with care. This artwork holds the anticipation of sharing an evening without needing to show the people who will arrive.

The canvas makes a considered seasonal gift for someone who loves Parisian apartments, intimate interiors, or Christmas at home. It can become part of an annual display, bringing back the same small room each winter while the celebrations around it change.
