The Courtyard Table Magnet

The Courtyard Table Magnet is a 3 × 3-inch decorative hardboard magnet with rounded corners and a thin white border. A broad walnut-colored table, a woven-seat chair and a sunlit courtyard fill this graphic illustration. An ochre vase holds an olive branch beside a single cream cup, while an olive tree and long shadows give the scene its open, unhurried rhythm.

The rounded tabletop and tapered base bring a sculptural counterpoint to the straight lines of the doorway. Cream walls, olive foliage and terracotta accents keep the palette warm. Subtle illustrated texture softens the flat areas of color without obscuring the confident shapes.

Materials and Format

The artwork is printed on a smooth white hardboard face, with a narrow continuous white margin separating the illustration from the rounded outer edge. The thin format keeps the image close to the surface where it is displayed, while the square shape gives the composition a clear boundary.

The illustrated textures belong to the printed design. The magnet itself has a smooth face, so the forms and colors remain the focus. Its compact size offers a way to collect the artwork without needing shelf space or a larger display.

Mid-Century Modern

The Courtyard Table belongs to Mirabilia’s Mid-Century Modern collection, where thoughtful form meets ordinary domestic life. Its subject is a familiar arrangement made worth noticing: a place to sit, something warm to drink and a view that lets the room open toward the garden.

Living With the Design

Place it on a suitable magnetic surface where you will see it during the day, such as a refrigerator or a metal noticeboard. It can add a small illustrated accent to a kitchen, studio or home office. Check that the intended surface accepts magnets before choosing a display spot.

It suits someone drawn to garden rooms, warm wood, vintage furniture or the small rituals of morning coffee. The scene also makes a considered housewarming gift, especially for a home where the dining table is a favorite gathering place.

The same illustration is available as The Courtyard Table Canvas. The two products are sold separately, allowing the design to be chosen for a magnetic surface or a small shelf display.
