The Things We Keep is a trio of 5×5-inch framed canvas artworks from Briar & Gable, part of the Mirabilia Relics series. Each piece depicts a familiar object: an old brass key, a cream envelope with a burgundy wax seal and handwritten letter, or a pink rose cutting with green leaves and a small bud.

Pale cream backgrounds give each illustrated subject room to stand on its own. The key lies diagonally across its composition, the envelope sits at a gentle angle, and the rose stem extends beneath its open bloom. Warm brass, soft paper tones, and dusty pink petals connect the three artworks without making them identical.
