View of the Nile brings together the intimate and expansive sides of Lapis & Lotus.

Close to the viewer, painted columns, ornamental vessels, patterned textiles, lush plants, and a lotus reflecting pool create the atmosphere of a carefully considered terrace. Beyond them, the composition opens toward the Nile, where palms and architecture follow the water into the distance.

Touches of lapis blue punctuate the warm limestone and golden light, while the river brings a quieter blue through the center of the landscape.
